Sorry I'm Late, My Couch Was Calling

Seriously, that comfy/my delightful/the super soft couch is like a black hole/magnet/gravity well. Once you sink in/land on/plopped onto it, getting up is practically impossible/a Herculean task/like climbing Mount Everest. It's not my fault, I swear! My butt/rear end/bottom was just completely relaxed/utterly content/having a great time. I even tried to tell myself/convince myself/reason with myself to get up, but that couch has a hypnotic effect/some kind of magic/an unfair advantage.

Nothing I Regret But Maybe Today

Life's a crazy ride, right? One minute you're soaring with joy, the next you're face-down in a pile of regrets. I've definitely had my share of both. Looking back, I wouldn't change a thing. It's all part of who I am today, even the silly stuff.

But there are days, you know? Days where nothing seems to be going wrong. Those are the days I question if maybe, just maybe, I could have done things differently. Maybe avoided a few bumps along the way. But then, even on those tough days, there's usually something to smile.

I Apologize For What I Said When I Was Hangry

Ever feel like you transform into a beast when your stomach starts to rumble? Yeah, me too. It's like my brain/mind/thoughts go on strike and all that's left is pure need for food. Next thing you know, I'm snapping at people over the dumbest/smallest/most trivial things.

I've definitely said some crazy/awful/stupid stuff when I'm hungry. It's not an excuse, but sometimes a rumbling tummy can ruin/destroy/wreak havoc on your temperament/mood/demeanor.

Here are some tips/This might help/To avoid this in the future:

* Don't ignore/dismiss/overlook hunger pangs.

* Keep healthy snacks/some food/bite-sized treats handy.

* And maybe, just maybe, have a conversation/explain yourself/apologize after you've ate/had a meal/consumed something.

Forgive My Absence Due to Distraction

Okay, so yesterday/today/this morning, there was this really intense/super fascinating/completely captivating thing/situation/occurrence that totally messed with/took my focus/pulled me away. Honestly/Seriously/To be frank, I was completely lost in it/couldn't pull myself away/forgot all about class. I know this isn't an excuse, but/understand if this is frustrating/really regret missing out on the lesson/class/what everyone else was doing. I'll try my best to catch up/Hopefully/I plan to get the notes from a friend..
